Hi there!
I am a designer, researcher, and illustrator deeply passionate about using community-based design, research, and art to create a positive social impact, especially as it relates to impacting children, youth, and families.
Currently, I'm a UX/UI Design Fellow in the 2023 cohort at Blue Ridge Labs, Robin Hood, New York’s poverty-fighting Innovation Lab.
Recently, I was a research design consultant at Co:Census, where I was empowering community voices with qualitative data and human-centered research approaches.
In the past five years as a practicing artist and community-based designer, I have led free arts programming at homeless shelters and social service centers serving unaccompanied minors in New York City with Arts Ignite, led visual arts workshops for and with the disabled community at the world’s first design studio to have creatives with intellectual disabilities on its team,
La Casa de Carlota, and co-founded a documentary project filming and uplifting street musicians in New York City and Barcelona, Street of Sound.
